SOUTHEAST UNITED STATES
ECSI was retained to provide assistance on various pipeline corridor studies for existing and proposed gas pipeline projects in the Southeast United States. The primary objective was to assemble the best available aerial/satellite photos and digital elevation model generated contours for the various corridor routes as well as preparation of exhibits depicting the proposed pipelines in relation to to existing features. Vertical profiles along many of the proposed routes and calculated pipe lengths were provided to the client to assist with construction cost estimation. A field survey was conducted to aid in preparation of a KPDES permit application and SWPPP plan for a proposed wet gas stripping plant in one location, and layout plans were prepared for a proposed rail terminal at another. The field survey, aerial photography and mapping were performed for 28 miles of newly acquired pipelines, including an overlay of existing gas well GIS data.
