ECSI, LLC is a partnership between Engineering Consulting Services, Inc., an engineering company headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky founded in 1983, and Ecology and Environment, Inc., (E & E) a Buffalo, New York-based consulting firm with over forty years experience and an international reputation in environmental services. E & E employs specialists in more than 85 scientific, engineering, and technical disciplines, based in offices in major cities across the United States and around the globe.
ECSI has been providing high quality engineering services for 30 years and has established successful working relationships with regulatory agencies throughout Kentucky and surrounding states. Our personnel include engineers, geologists, biologists, scientists, and land surveyors, as well as environmental, health and safety specialists and assorted technical support personnel.
Our Kentucky locations include our Lexington headquarters as well as offices in Corbin, Marion, Owensboro, and Pikeville. We also have offices in Blacksburg, Virginia and Williamson, West Virginia.
Our experience in the areas of risk management, forensic investigations, and sensitive land use issues has earned our firm a national reputation.
Using principles of sustainable development, we assist our clients not only with engineering and design, but in presentation of projects in the public arena to gain social license or acceptance in addition to regulatory approvals.
